Turkey Vulture – one of a pair that we saw landing in the tree’s.
It was a three-day weekend and I walked 3 fabulous walks – Biggs Park to Jack Point, Neck Point and Morrell Sanctuary – here are the best (and the worst) of the weekend in pictures!
The second best bird siting this weekend was a pair of Turkey Vultures landing in the trees at Biggs Park! The first was the flock of Surf Scoter’s at Neck Point! Of special note was the Song Sparrow that posed for a full five minutes just singing her (or his) heart out! It was a great weekend for birds!
I love the Salmon Berry Blossom – they glow against the greenery around them.

It wasn’t such a great weekend for knitting – too busy to accomplish much and what was accomplished ended up getting ripped back!
